The Portrait Artist
VANESSA VANN GERMAN, CPP
Vanessa Vann German, a Certified Professional Photographer, is the lead photographic portrait artist and studio owner at Vann Fine Art Portraits. After obtaining her B.S. degree in Visual Communications, with a focus in Graphic Design and Photography, she opened her first studio in 2009 in the quaint downtown area of Elizabethtown, NC. Serving families from all across the Carolinas, her focus is on creating unforgettable portraits to proudly decorate each family’s home with love. Her passion is helping others build confidence and see the their beauty and value through the power of fine art portraiture.
Vanessa earned her Certified Professional Photographer designation from Professional Photographers of America in 2012. This distinction is held by few photographers because it is not a membership. A CPP designation must be earned with a stringent portfolio review demonstrating mastery of portrait lighting and posing, and a written 2 hour exam covering all aspects of photography.
AWARDS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor of Science, Visual Communications with a focus in Graphic Design and Photography
- Outstanding Small Business, 2012 from the Elizabethtown/White Lake Chamber of Commerce
